FIRST TRACK: EDIT & VERIFY WEBINARS SERIES

If you want to become a fact-checker to verify any content before sharing it on your social media accounts, you will find these webinars useful.

The first track of the project is a total of 10 hours divided over 5 interactive webinars through Zoom and the “Facebook Journalism Project” Facebook page. The webinars are open for all interested journalists, fact checkers, media students and other professionals.

The webinars aim to raise awareness about fake news, misinformation and disinformation, and equip the audience with the tools they need to identify and debunk fake news.

Participants who will participate in the five webinars in addition to one of the webinar series on ‘Facebook Community Standards’ will qualify to obtain the E-certificate provided by ARIJ & Facebook Journalism Project. The dates will be announced in 2022.
