War in the Middle East: Key Misinformation Trends
During the Middle East war (March–April 2026), the ARIJ’s Arab Fact-Checkers Network (AFCN) Fact-Checking Chatbot received hundreds of claims for verification related to Iran, Lebanon, Palestine, and the Gulf region. In this report, we present our key findings on misinformation trends and our fact-checking efforts throughout that period.
